VS TECH, the section that explores the future of the audiovisual industry, is a key meeting point within Ventana Sur for exploring trends in technological innovation applied to the creation, production, formats, and distribution of audiovisual content in Latin America. Its program includes talks, workshops, screenings, and showcases of immersive cinema and video games.

Among the activities planned for the 2026 edition, VS TECH presents the second edition of “Humanos + IA: en acción,” inviting content creators, production companies, filmmakers, and other industry professionals to submit audiovisual works in which human teams use artificial intelligence tools at different stages of an audiovisual project. The initiative welcomes works in a variety of formats, including short films, vertical microfiction, music videos, hybrid works, video art, immersive projects, pilots or short episodes, and fashion films.

“Humanos + IA: en acción – 2nd Edition” aims to showcase concrete examples of how these tools are being applied to narratives across different genres and formats, while creating a space for exchange between creators and industry professionals around the changes currently reshaping audiovisual production processes.
