VS SERIES: Open Call
Ventana Sur launches the open call for VS Series, its international acceleration and networking platform for fiction and documentary series projects in an advanced stage of development, produced by Latin American production companies or in co-production with the region.
From November 30 to December 4, 2026, in Montevideo, selected projects will take part in a program designed to strengthen their creative development, expand financing opportunities, and enhance their international reach through exchanges with leading professionals from the global audiovisual industry.
Who can apply?
The call is open to Latin American production companies or projects developed in co-production with companies from the region, presenting fiction or documentary series (scripted or unscripted) that are in an advanced stage of development.
Projects must be original works or adaptations with the corresponding rights secured. They must not have any previously produced seasons, and episodes must have a minimum running time of 20 minutes.
What does VS Series offer?
Selected projects will participate in a program specifically designed to support their international growth, including:
- Sessions on the latest trends in the audiovisual industry.
- Meetings with executives, platforms, and key decision-makers.
- Networking opportunities to present projects.
- One-to-one meetings with potential strategic partners.
- Tools and resources to strengthen creative development and expand opportunities for co-production, financing, and international distribution.
In addition, each selected project will receive up to two accreditations to attend Ventana Sur 2026.
