Pimer Corte is aimed at fiction films in post-production whose story and main creative elements are already defined, but which still require services to complete the process. These may include image and sound post-production, subtitling or other finishing services.

Copia Final is designed for fiction films that are completed or nearing completion. Here, the focus is on international reach: gaining visibility, connecting with sales agents and distributors, approaching festivals, and strengthening the films’ presence across markets and other industry spaces.

In addition to competing for awards, selected films are presented in a screening, while producers take part in one-to-one meetings with industry professionals. These opportunities provide initial feedback and help establish relevant industry connections.

Primer Corte & Copia Final are part of Ventana Sur’s role in connecting Latin American cinema with the international market, with a strong presence of professionals and institutions from both Latin America and Europe.
