VS Scripts 2025: these are the winning projects
VS GUIONES is the space within Ventana Sur Río de la Plata created to support and nurture emerging screenwriters and their projects from across Latin America, fostering opportunities for connection and exchange with different sectors of the audiovisual industry.
From December 1 to 5, the selected projects received personalized mentorship from acclaimed screenwriters such as Florencia Percia and Mariana Wainstein; a master class led by Natalia Santa, the internationally recognized Colombian screenwriter and director; and an open pitching session for accredited Ventana Sur attendees, where participants presented their projects to key industry figures.
This year we received 170 bold and committed Latin American projects. We are deeply grateful to everyone who submitted their work.

CINA CINA AWARD – Film Residencies
One screenwriter will be selected to participate with their script in the October 2026 edition of CINA CINA, Film Residencies in Uruguay.
The residency lasts three weeks and includes accommodation and mentorship sessions.
TATTÚ TRANSLATIONS AWARD
Complete translation from Spanish to English of the selected feature film script, provided by Tattú Traducciones, an agency specializing in audiovisual translation.
