VS Animation! Pitching Sessions 2025 – Selected Projects
The 2025 edition of VS Animation! Pitching Sessions celebrated the talent and creative diversity of Latin American animation, bringing together feature film and series projects that highlight the region’s aesthetic, narrative, and cultural richness.
This year’s call attracted projects from across Latin America. After a thorough evaluation process, seven feature films and seven series were selected to form the official lineup of this edition.
The selection was carried out by the VS Animation! team together with curators Christophe Erbes and Sophie Caron, who contributed their expertise and international perspective to the curation of the projects.
The selected titles competed for international awards granted by our partners and sponsors, which will help them continue promoting their projects, strengthen strategic alliances, and advance in securing financing and co-production partners.
In addition, all selected projects took part in our One-to-One Meetings, where they met with leading professionals from the local and international industry, opening up valuable opportunities for collaboration and development.

WBD + Mundoloco CGI | Launchpad Series
Animated Series Development Contest
Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) and Mundoloco CGI introduced the WBD + Mundoloco CGI | Launchpad Series, a new competition within VS Animation! designed to boost the development of Latin American animated series with strong co-production potential and international reach.
From all the projects submitted to the VS Animation! call, seven finalists were selected to participate in the WBD + Mundoloco CGI | Launchpad Series.
A team of professionals from Warner Bros. Discovery and Mundoloco CGI carried out the selection of the finalist projects, who will have the opportunity to take part in one-to-one meetings with representatives from both companies. Based on these meetings, the jury will determine whether there is a winning project, which will receive a six-month Development Deal jointly awarded by Mundoloco CGI and WBD. If the jury of professionals from both companies deems it appropriate, the award may be declared vacant.
This competition aims to strengthen the Latin American animation ecosystem by supporting new talent in the development of their projects and enhancing their access to international co-production and distribution.
What does the Development Deal offer?
Over the course of six months, the teams from Mundoloco CGI and WBD will work alongside the winning creative team to further develop their project, offering:
- Artistic and strategic mentorship.
- Guidance on key materials: bible, teaser script, production and financing plan.
- Support for international markets: pitch preparation, positioning, and roadmap development.
