VENTANA DOC PITCH

Call for feature-length documentary projects in development to participate in VENTANA DOC PITCH: an intensive preparation and pitching workshop to be held in the framework of Ventana Sur between the 2nd and 6th of December 2024 in Montevideo, Uruguay.

Requirements

• The call is aimed at feature-length documentary projects in the development stage.
• Only Latin American feature-length documentaries or co-productions with a majority Latin American production can be registered.
• Priority will be given to projects open to international coproductions.

How to register your project?

• There is no registration fee.
• To participate you must complete the attached registration form by 2 October 2024.
• Registration will be considered complete once you send the full documentation requested and attached to the form.
• Registrations that are not complete will be cancelled.

About the selected projects

• 6 projects will be selected to participate in a Pitch preparation session led by leading professionals in the sector.
• At the end of the preparation, the projects will be presented in a Pitch session and will have an agenda of one to one meetings.
• The selected projects may receive prizes to participate in international development and industry events as well as other prizes for the production and/or realisation of their projects.
• Those selected will have access to two accreditations to participate in Ventana Sur and 3 nights accommodation for 2 people per project (producer/director) in a shared room.
• Selected projects will be contacted by email and will have 5 working days to confirm their participation.
