DOCSUR is an initiative of the documentary associations of Argentina, in order to promote the Latin American documentary in all its formats.

On this special occasion, Doc Sur and A+E History Channel in collaboration with Conicet Doc open a special call for projects of factual and documentaries series in development from any Latin American country.

6 Latin American series projects in development will be shortlisted to participate in a training and pitch session during Ventana Sur 2023 together with the A+E History Channel team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Factual-documentary series projects that have a majority Latin American production (with the possibility of becoming a multi-season format), of massive impact, of general interest (mainstream).
• The series projects presented must be in the development stage.
• The series projects presented must be of current relevance.
• The series projects presented must have exclusive content and/or an innovative point of view, and preferably with formats that optimize resources and budgets.
• Those projects that have an international sales agent will not be able to register.

HOW TO REGISTER YOUR FILM

• Registration is open and free.

• To participate you must complete the registration form below by August 30th, 2023.

REGARDING THE SELECTED PROJECTS:
I. If the project is selected, the applicant must comply with the following guidelines:

• Do not withdraw the project from DOCSUR / Ventana Sur.
• Accept that the project data and the contact information of its representatives be published in the Ventana Sur catalog and wherever the organization considers it appropriate.
• Commits to be present at the event if deemed necessary by the organization.
• Commits to deliver the following within the term requested:
  *Photo of the Director and Producer (Vertical format, 300 dpi in JPG).
  *Representative Image of the Project (Horizontal Format, 300 dpi in JPG). You must have the rights of use.
  *Information required for the catalogue, and other things you may be asked to provide.

II. Selected films must have a at least one representative (Director, Producer) at Ventana Sur´s market 2023 who will be given a complimentary accreditation to attend.

III. The jury of A+E History Channelwill award the selected project with a special prize.
