Exceptional artists pushing visual, conceptual and narrative boundaries discuss the disruptive innovation and how to cease the new market and audiences they create. What is the industry for this new formats? Who are the buyers? In which format are they selling?

Rodrigo Bellot, Filmmaker, Narrative Engineer, LLC

Rodrigo has been a juror for many international festivals as well as a special guest of the most prestigious film universities around the world, such as Columbia, New York, Cornell, Amsterdam and many others in Latin America. His last short film as a director, “Unicornio”, premiered globally at Cannes this year, and it has taken part in competitions at more than ten international festivals so far. Currently, Rodrigo is adapting his first play “Tu me manques” to be premiered in Broadway in 2020.

Maria Laura Ruggiero, Transmedia Producer, Seirenfilms

Filmmaker, audiovisual designer and storyteller specialized in experiential and transmedia narratives. International speaker (MUTEK, SXSW, MIT, Berlinale) and teacher in narrative innovation áreas. María Laura leads the #StoryHackers lab, supported by the Organization of Ibero-American States, and she directs SeirenFilms, a techno-narrative exploration lab. She is a part of Amplify, international initiative bringing together women in the digital arts, sponsored by Mutek, British Council and Somerset House.

Rocío Carbajo, General coordinator, UN3

Since 2013, she takes part of the UN3 project, of which she currently is General Coordinator. She has given lectures and trainings in different spaces, such as EAFIT University in Colombia, UDELAR in Uruguay, EICTV in Cuba, and she has participated in diverse international festivals from Latin America and Europe. She works as Executive Producer specialist in short format content, and she coordinates the production of 360° projects, such as the “Punto de quiebre” series and “Experiencia 360”, educational program taking this technology to the classroom.

Moderator: Bárbara Cerro, Director-Founder, Bit Bang Festival

Director and founder of BIT BANG. Audiovisual director. Graduated from Diseño de Imagen y Sonido (UBA). She works in the area of direction and animation in short films, feature films, video clips and web series. She directed “Gorda”, “Los Inadaptables”, “Instrucciones para humanos”, “Bit Bang TV” and the short film “Ártemis”, among others. She programmed for numerous animation festivals and cinemas. She performs as an Artistic Director, Programmer and organizer of the Bit Bang Fest and Bit Bang Club.
