Joyce Zylberberg, Managing partner, Screen Capital
Joyce is the founder and managing partner of Screen Capital. She was Director of the Chile Film Commission for 8 years and Executive Secretary (s) of the Chilean National Audiovisual Council and Film Fund. From the Chile Film Commission she developed the attention, following and positioning protocol for domestic and international audiovisual productions filmed in Chile, supporting more than 280 productions and leading the first cash rebate policy specialized in attracting film and series projects of international impact in Chile.
Fábio Lima, CEO, Sofa Digital
Sofa Digital’s founder Lima, is a media and technology entrepreneur who focuses on streaming and digital content since 2000. In 2003, he helped create Rain Networks, the first network of digital cinema in the world. Aware of the international trends, by 2008 his focus broadened to include on-demand digital film distribution and the live broadcasting of alternative cinema content, such as live shows, sporting events, operas, and theater. Nowadays as Sofa Group’s Executive Partner, he spearheads an international enterprise and a leading player in VOD distribution.
Moderator: Fausto García, Management Professor, IAE
Born in Rosario, Santa Fe, Fausto García studied at Instituto Dante Alighieri. He learned music, got an Engineering degree at University of Buenos Aires, and later he specialized in Organization management. Today, he is a professor of Innovation in the Operations and Technology management area at the international business school IAE. He has taken part in the production of two national films, “Mi Primera Boda” (2011) and “Vino Para Robar” (2013), and in the making of documentaries to be used in teaching.
